Officials of KPRA Mardan Region held a meeting with the representatives of Nowshera Economic Zone and Industrialists to discuss registration of Pharmaceutical Companies operating in the economic zone with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and start tax compliance. 
Representatives of  Pharmaceutical Companies,  Nowshera Economic Zone, officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) and  Industrialists participated in the meeting. KPRA  Mardan Region Additional Collector Kamran Khattak thanked the participants and assured them complete support to ease the process of registration and tax filing for the Pharmaceutical Companies. Kamran Khattak also thanked the officials of KPEZDMC for assisting KPRA to bring the units under the  tax net. Assistant Collector KPRA Mardan Ejaz Ali Khan officials briefed the participants on sales tax on services and shed light on its importance for the uplift of the province. The participants agreed to register their  businesses with the KPRA for sales tax on services and assured tax compliance.
