The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) arranged an orientation session for restaurants owners and representatives of Abbottabad on its advanced version of Restaurants Invoice Monitoring System (RIMS). KPRA has developed an advanced version of RIMS which will replace the existing RIMS system in restaurants providing several facilities to both customers and restaurants owners. The owners and representatives of the restaurants were briefed about the silent features offered by the new system. KPRA Additional Collector (North) Umar Arshad Khan welcomed their representatives of the restaurants to the session and assured them that his team will assist them in learning the use of the system. KPRA will launch the advanced version of the RIMS across the province in the next month.
What is new in advanced version?
With the advanced version of RIMS, the customer can place online orders for food, reserve a table at a restaurant, search for the location of a nearby eatery, check the menu, and can place an order for online delivery. For the restaurants, the RIMS offers the complete software needed to run a restaurant conveniently. The restaurants can put their menus with rates, and pictures, and special deals, it offers the management the facility of point of sale, kitchen management, employees management, online order, daily sale records, sales analysis, and tax calculation. It offers the option to add multiple branches of a restaurant for the owners and the owner can keep a check on orders and sales of each and every restaurant on his smartphone through the Application. The owners don’t have to pay any commission to anyone for online orders or spend thousands of rupees to develop and launch the system because KPRA is doing this for them without any charges. Furthermore, the rates of sales tax on services for eateries having the system will be 5% instead of 8% as a gift from the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to encourage automation and ensure transparency.
