MARDAN: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) on Monday launched Registration Week in Mardan region to facilitate people associated with services sector and provide them on the spot registration facility.
On Monday, the KPRA teams visited premises of businesses associated with services sector in Mardan to create awareness and provide on-spot registration facility at door step. USAID’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Mobilization Activity is providing financial assistance to KPRA in conducting the drive.
On special directives of Director General KPRA Fayyaz Ali Shah, teams of the Authority visited businesses located on Sheikh Maltoon Town, Nowshera-Mardan road and Charsadda-Mardan Road. The teams set-up mobile registration centre at Shelton Restaurant Mardan where on-spot registration facility was provided to unregistered business owners, associated with services sectors, who had not registered with the authority.
In the weeklong Registration Drive, teams of KPRA will set-up Mobile Registration Camps in Swabi till Wednesday evening after which the camps will be switched to Nowshera and Charsadda and the drive will be concluded on Friday evening.
KPRA registration teams will visit each and every market and business centre of the cities to create awareness and facilitate them. “People, associated with services sector, who have not registered their business should visit our camp to get instant registration,” said KPRA Public Relations Officer Sohail Raza Khattak in his statement. “Our teams have come to facilitate you at your door step,” he said.
