To facilitate its taxpayers and move towards digitization, the KPRA is providing a free RMRS (Restaurants Monitoring and Reporting System) system which includes Tablets PCs, Printers, and Software to restaurant owners/management.
The system generates computerized receipts of the restaurant bills for the customers which are directly linked to the KPRA system, and the tax paid through the bills is directly reflected in the KPRA portal. The taxpayers can check through the portal by putting the invoice number in the verification tab on KPRA website to see whether their tax has reached the KPRA system or not. The system ensures transparency. RMRS is a complete package for running a digitally-operated restaurant offering features of Kitchen Management, Invoice generation, Tax calculation, inventory management, online orders, and staff management.
On Friday evening, a team of KPRA South Region including Audit Officer Kamil Zada, Inspector Abdul Khaliq and Assistant Director Gohar Ali installed and handed over RMRS devices in Restaurants in Bannu. The team provided on-the-spot training to the restaurant’s staff on the operation of the system.
